Active Games
Whale Bean Bag Toss: Toddlers and Preschoolers take turn tossing bean bags into a blue bucket decorated to be a “whale.” Connection: Who was in the belly of the giant fish in our Bible story today? Yes, Jonah! What did Jonah do inside the belly of the fish? Yes, Jonah prayed for 3 days and 3 nights. Jonah prayed “God forgive me!” Did God forgive Jonah? YES, God loved Jonah! What did the giant fish do? Yes, it spit Jonah out on dry land and Jonah ran to Nineveh to tell them about God’s love! Yay, God! Yay, Jonah! Let’s play a game together! Let’s pretend our bean bags are Jonah and this blue bucket is our giant fish. We will take turns trying to toss Jonah into the big fish. Ready to play?
